Good evening ladies and gentlemen and other honorable guests, before I commence my speech, I would like to thank to the South African Government for their great effort of helping and welcoming the refugees who came to South Africa. Second, I am speaking on behalf of Somali Bantu community tonight, I would like to expose to South African Government, to the medias and even to the world, people who are enslaved at the same time suffering from in human persecution including, killing, robbing, kidnapping, torturing, massacre and so on.. These people are Somali bantu, they live along the banks of both rivers Jubba and Shabelle, they are the people who go at the originated southern Somalia, they are the ones who are suffering in Somalia, they are the ones who are oppressed, the Somali Bantus are the ones who are the native or the landlords in southern Somalia, but, were denied for every aspect of their rights, including the opportunities for higher educations, the political system of the country, or higher rank, because of their origin form Bantu tribes.
In this case, the Somali-Bantu rose from the degrading life of slavery, their whole life shrouded gloom and ignorance, their voice is unheard, as long as their claim is also ignored, because of politically reasons they are labeled as people who came recently to Somalia. The Somali-Bantus are the ones who are considered as minorities and it is explicit or clear that they are not minorities, because, there is no exact statistics which was done in Somali stating that these people are minorities, but the reality is that they have no power in the county. The nomadic Somalis who live mostly the northern part of Somalia always impart to the medias when or what ever they want to describe Somalia historically, as they said; that the Somalis are homogeneous and unique ethnic, infect, that is not true, because, they want to hide the other races of Somalia like Bantus, Banadiri who are Asiatic origin, and more anthers. Somalis are not homogeneous we are diversion, we are different in languages we are different in cultures. In conclusion I want to inform the South African government, as we are Somali Bantu community that we are not happy and satisfied this announced community, because, these people still want to deceive us, to rob us, as they are doing in Somalia. There for, we are requesting to the South African government, to invite us as Somali Bantu. Finally we are here to thank the South African government how they welcome us, gave us residence permits, as we are Somali Bantu people, we are also here to thank the American government for giving resettlement the Somali Bantu refugees who stayed in Kenya.Thanks for your participation. ..
